Vertical Jump Training Shoes?
I think we all have heard of vertical jump platform training shoes, but these are completely different. These shoes are called APL Athletic Propulsion Labs Shoes. These are basically basketball shoes that you could wear in a game or practice. Yes, these shoes do look a lot like your everyday basketball shoe, but oh they are not. These shoes actually increase your vertical while your playing. No training and no more hours of hard work. Some people might be able to touch the rim or even grab it, but may not be able to dunk. Well than these shoes would be perfect for you. They supposedly add 4 inches to your vertical INSTANTLY! And if your a really good athlete than you could add even more anywhere around 8 inches to your vertical. Now doesn't these shoes sound amazing. Yes, but do they work? Well I did some research and came to find out they these shoes actually kind of work. It turns out that these shoes work better if you are a two legged jumper, but they still work if your a one legged jumper. Should you buy them? Well that is kind of a hard question, because they work alright, but they aren't really worth their price. These vertical jump shows cost $300 and I don't know about you, but for shoes that's not a good price.
Which Vertical Jump Program To Choose
It can be very difficult to choose a vertical jump program. I have used many and know a lot about most of them. First of all Air Alert is a complete waste of time. You can ruin your sports career if you use Air Alert. Also Air Alert is free, but I would never use it, because They have to many sets and reps. The Jump Manual is more of a realistic vertical jump program, but don't expect to increase 10 inches in 12 weeks though. It matters what type of an athlete you are. And if you have a vertical around 40 inches than don't expect to jump much higher. If you have a smaller vertical anywhere from 20 to 30 inches you could increase a good amount like 6 inches. These are both completely different vertical jump programs. In my opinion Athletic Advantage is the best vertical jump program ever made. It doesn't overwork at all, it's perfect. You can check your progress and customize your workouts. One of the best things about Athletic Advantage is it has a good price of only $49.99.

Vertical Jump Exercises
Vertical jump can be easy to increase if you go HARD! You want to work on your quads, calfs, gluts, hamstrings, and core. Now this is just kind of showing you what is good to do. squats, calf raises, crunches, push ups, and more! Plyometrics are jumping drills where you consistentinly jumping for a certain amount of time. To really make an increase in your vertical you need to mix up what you do. Monday do weighted squats and maybe a few plyometrics and some calf raises. Tuesday you could take a break, but you still have to have to do core exercises. Wednesday you could do dead lifts some plyometrics and some pushups. Thursday could be hardcore abs/core and intense arm workouts. Like pushups, pull-ups and dips. Friday and Saturday would just be a light core workout. And Sunday you can take a break. If you have any questions on a weekly workout plan comment on my page.
